HuskMitNavn

HuskMitNavn is a Danish artist based in Copenhagen, known for his humorous and sharply observed depictions of everyday life. Working across drawing, painting, printmaking and public art, he has developed a distinctive visual language that combines bold, graphic lines with playful perspectives and a strong sense of narrative.

His work takes familiar situations as its starting point: family life, relationships, work, leisure and the small frustrations and absurdities of daily routines. With a direct and seemingly simple approach, HuskMitNavn turns these recognisable moments into images that are both personal and universal. Humour plays an important role, often revealing something more vulnerable or reflective beneath the surface.

A recurring element in his practice is the physical use of paper itself. Figures interact with folds, tears, cut-outs and the edges of the sheet, transforming the two-dimensional surface into part of the image. This playful approach to perspective and material has become one of the most recognisable aspects of his work.

HuskMitNavn has exhibited internationally and created numerous large-scale murals and public works. Whether working on paper, canvas or in public space, his practice is characterised by an accessible visual language and an acute understanding of human behaviour, finding significance in the ordinary moments of contemporary life.
