Connecting The Dots

Mini Galerie proudly presents Connecting The Dots, Anne Mei Poppe’s newest body of work and her first presentation at the gallery. Connecting The Dots is a vibrant and intuitive series that celebrates freedom, expression, and the subtle moments of connection woven into everyday life. Each painting honors fleeting sparks: a shared glance, the gentle synchronicity between chaos and harmony, the quiet joy hidden in ordinary moments. Poppe’s layered compositions reveal both the expansiveness and intimacy of human experience, inviting viewers to slow down and notice how the pieces of their own lives fall into place.

In this series, Poppe explores the idea that meaning often emerges through intuition rather than logic. Her bold forms, soft abstractions, and fluid gestures echo the ways in which coincidences and encounters can shape our paths. What may appear spontaneous becomes, on reflection, part of a larger pattern—an unfolding narrative that connects the dots of our lived experience.

Anne Mei Poppe (b. Netherlands) is an Amsterdam-based artist known for her large, expressive canvases that blend abstraction, contemporary figurative elements, and rich color palettes. Her work explores themes of connection, intuition, and emotional depth, often drawing on personal narratives and mythic archetypes. In her latest series Connecting The Dots, Poppe presents works ranging from intimate small-scale paintings to monumental pieces, gaining attention for their vibrancy, movement, and symbolic resonance.
