Noasis by Clemens Behr

The Swedish vodka brand Absolut invited the German artist Clemens Behr to create an art bar for the Berliner Liste art fair. For his installation titled Noasis he incorporated the concrete aesthetic of the Kraftwerk, a former power plant where the event takes place, and breaks the harsh structures with tropical greenery. Made up of asymmetrical mirrors and fog machines, Noasis is Behr’s vision of an artificial ‘non-oasis’, a space between chaos and order. The artist even collaborated with a mixologist to create an Absolut Noasis cocktail, consisting of basil, ginger lemonade and vodka.
